Privacy policy on the processing of personal data
Issued pursuant to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Base document to be submitted for legal validation before final publication.
Data controller
The controller of personal data processing is ET Trade Tech SA, with registered office in Via Lugano 13, 6982 Agno (District of Lugano, Canton of Ticino, Switzerland). For any privacy-related question you can write to management@eureka-trade.com.
Data we collect
Through the “Preliminary assessment” form we collect the data you voluntarily enter: first and last name, company, email, telephone, role, country, sector, track of interest, destination market and the content of your message. The site also uses an internal, privacy-friendly statistics system that records exclusively aggregated and anonymous data (pages visited, form submissions, clicks on contacts), with no third-party cookies, no advertising tracking and no user profiling.
Purposes and legal basis
Form data is processed to respond to your preliminary assessment request and for any subsequent communications needed to evaluate a collaboration. The legal basis is your consent (art. 31 nFADP and art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Commercial communications and updates are sent only if you have given the dedicated optional consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. The preliminary assessment service is free of charge, non-binding and does not constitute a mandate to operate.
Processing methods and retention
Data is processed with protected IT tools and appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee confidentiality and integrity. We retain it for the time needed to handle your request and, in the absence of further contact, no longer than 24 months after the last interaction. If a business relationship is established, the retention terms provided by Swiss law for accounting and documentation apply.
Disclosure to third parties and transfers
Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes. It may be processed, on behalf of the controller, by technical providers that ensure the operation of the site and the sending of emails (hosting and delivery service), bound by confidentiality obligations. Any transfers outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area take place only towards countries with adequate protection guarantees.
Your rights
As a data subject you can exercise at any time the rights provided by the nFADP and the GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise them, write to management@eureka-trade.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland or, if you reside in the EU, with the supervisory authority of your country (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Cookies and local storage
This site does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies. Only the browser's local storage is used for technical preferences (for example, not showing the same notice twice in the same session). No cookie consent banner is therefore required.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated over time. The version in force is the one published on this page. Last update: September 2026.
